Compassionate to the Core t-shirt
After launching the first webstore at The Humane League and stocking it with several flagship logo pieces, I felt we needed to incorporate some more unique pieces that would resonate with our audience. Historically staff, volunteers, and fans had loved limited run punk/metal illustrated pieces. Growing up, I was first introduced to vegetarianism and animal rights from punk bands and wanted to draw inspiration from those Warped Tour band tshirt days. Additionally, I wanted to create something that had an impactful, but inclusive message. The shirt draws inspiration from tattoos and carries messages including “save animals”, “eat plants”, “veg”, and “compassionate to the core”. This theme is meant to meet anyone where they are in their compassionate journey, whether they are vegan, plant-based, vegetarian, or veg-curious.

Earth Day Poster
Hand illustrated Earth Day Celebration poster. This piece was screenprinted as a limited run on recycled paper. This piece draws inspiration from Art Nouveau and the art of Alphonse Mucha. It seeks to elevate animals to the level of the ethereal goddesses portrayed by Mucha. "The words “For the Animals, for the planet” is a play off of The Humane League’s tagline “For the Animals”.

This crewneck was created as part of the launch strategy for The Humane League rebrand. I sought to highlight our new icon while emphasizing the impact of our supporters as those making change in the world, for the animals. The icon on the sleeve was inspired by the staff of The Humane League who like to show off their compassionate strength (often by flexing in team photos). A photo shoot was conducted with vegan influencers and the shirt is available for purchase on The Humane League shop.
